How to Enroll

Step 1: Visit the Official NIOS Website

Access the NIOS enrollment portal by visiting the official website:
https://www.nios.co.in(Note: Ensure you are on the correct and updated NIOS website, as third-party sites may not be authorized.)

Step 2: Choose Your Course

NIOS offers courses at various levels:

• Secondary Course (Class 10 equivalent)

• Senior Secondary Course (Class 12 equivalent)

• Vocational Education Programs

• Life Enrichment Programs

Select the course that aligns with your educational goals and eligibility criteria (e.g., age, previous qualifications).

Step 3: Register as a New Learner

1. Click on “Admission” or “New Registration” on the homepage.

2. Fill in basic details such as name, date of birth, email, and mobile number to create an account.

3. Verify your account via the OTP sent to your registered email or phone number.

Step 4: Complete the Application Form

1. Log in to your NIOS World account.

2. Fill out the Online Application Form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.

3. Select your preferred study center and subjects (up to 7 subjects for Secondary/Senior Secondary).

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

Scan and upload the following documents (in PDF/JPG format):

• Proof of age (birth certificate, Aadhaar card, etc.).

• Previous academic mark sheets (if applicable).

• Address proof.

• Passport-sized photograph and signature.

• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable).

Note: Ensure documents meet the specified size and format requirements.

Step 6: Pay the Enrollment Fee

1. Proceed to the payment gateway after document upload.

2. Pay the course fee via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

3. Fees vary by course and category.

Save the payment receipt for future reference.

Step 7: Submit and Confirm Enrollment

1. Review all details in the application form.

2. Submit the form.

3. You will receive a confirmation email/SMS with your enrollment number.
